Terms of Use

Agreement

These terms govern use of AIYarn on the web and in the iOS app (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.

The Service

AIYarn is a craft companion for crochet, knitting, and sewing: stash inventory, patterns (including optional photo-to-pattern drafts), projects, and an optional shop for physical handmade goods. Features may change as we improve the product.

Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old. You are responsible for your login credentials and for activity on your account. You may delete your account in the app under Account → Delete account. We may suspend accounts that abuse the Service or violate these terms.

Your content

You keep ownership of photos, patterns, notes, and listings you upload. You grant us a limited license to store and display that content so the Service can work (including optional AI vision when you use those features). Do not upload content you do not have the right to use, or that is illegal, infringing, or harmful.

AI patterns

Photo-to-pattern and other AI output are drafts to help you get started. They are not guaranteed to be complete, safe, or commercially usable. Always check gauge, yardage, and construction before you cut fabric or commit expensive yarn.

Handmade shop

Listings are for physical handmade goods. The seller is the merchant of record for those goods. Card payments are processed by Stripe; AIYarn does not store full card numbers. Digital goods, subscriptions, and unlocks are not sold in this app. Shipping, returns, and fulfillment are between buyer and seller unless required otherwise by law.

Acceptable use

  • No scraping, attacking, or overloading the Service
  • No impersonation or misleading shop listings
  • No prohibited or illegal items
  • No attempt to bypass rate limits, payments, or account controls

Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is.” We disclaim warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for lost yarn, failed projects, or seller–buyer disputes beyond what applicable law requires.
